LWV PA Capital Region was pleased to participate in a student led panel!

Wonderful discussions for over 200 students in the auditorium. 2 School Board members, and Commissioners were present.

Panelists included: Representatives Justin Fleming and Patty Kim, PA Auditor General Timothy DeFoor, and LWV PA Capital Region President, Michele Emerson.

Students asked very thought provoking questions about voting, distrust of government, misinformation, political violence, polarization, and how State and Local government affects the lives of students.

Thank you to Rho National Social Studies Honor Society, the Student Council, the Black Student Union, and the Administration of Susquehanna Township HS for organizing this professional and informative event.
