William Penn HS - York

LWV HA members, Amber and Michelle, supporting York’s William Penn HS Career Fair for grades 9-12

The tabletop civics game attracted 66 students who interacted with us! We registered 1, and gave out 6 paper ballots to upcoming eligible youth for later this year. Our posters also caused students to consider the important issues and decisions that elected officials, and by extension, the legal system makes for all of us. Lightbulbs went off for at least 5 students who had not previously understood the benefit of voting.
