On May 8th, almost 40 League members from 13 Leagues gathered at the Pennsylvania State Capitol for our 2024 Lobby Day. LWVPACAPREG member Earline B. attended.

League members met with 20 different PA legislators to discuss important issues that affect Pennsylvanians.  LWVPA wishes to thank all who attended and worked to make this event possible.

Earline met with Rep. Dave Madsen of the PA 105th District and discussed the importance of voting and getting young people registered and  interested in voting. Earline explained to Rep. Madsen that the League is always prepared and ready to register voters wherever we go! Earline also encountered Rep. Justin Fleming of the PA 105th district and discussed voting with him as they walked together. She says it was a very successful day.
